2) Distraction Technique

Another method of overcoming panic attacks is by using something called the distraction technique. As the name implies, try to distract yourself when you find yourself in a stressful situation. In fact the more you allow yourself to be distracted, you become more composed and better able to handle the stressful situation.

3) Feel In Control

When you feel that you are in control, overcoming panic attacks becomes easier. It is imperative that you do not feel depressed or let down when you suffer some losses or experience some failed plans. Where possible, avoid taking medication as a means to overcoming panic attacks. It only provides a temporary relief and does nothing to help you to deal with the stressful situations yourself.
